Every Treasure Has a Story. We Help You Tell It.
Your grandmother's ring. Your father's watch. The painting from your honeymoon. These aren't just possessions—they're chapters in your family's history. We help you capture those stories, protect them for insurance, and pass them down through generations.
"We started VaultTag because we believe the stories behind what you own matter as much as the items themselves. Whether you're protecting against the unexpected or planning your legacy, your treasures deserve to be remembered."
— Jackson White, Founder & CEO
VaultTag
Our Mission
We help families tell the stories behind their treasures—and protect them for whatever comes next. Whether you're documenting for insurance, planning your estate, or simply making sure your grandchildren know why that pocket watch matters, VaultTag turns your possessions into lasting legacies.
Our Vision
A future where every family treasure comes with its story. Where insurance claims are stress-free because documentation exists. Where estate planning includes the why, not just the what. Where 'I wish I knew the history of this' becomes 'Let me tell you about it.'

Our Guiding Principles
Everything we build starts with one question: will this help families preserve what matters most?
Stories First
Every treasure has a story worth telling. We built VaultTag to capture not just what you own, but why it matters—the memories, the people, the moments that make each item irreplaceable.
Protection Built In
Your stories deserve security. Every item you document creates insurance-ready records and estate planning documentation—so the practical protection happens automatically while you preserve memories.
Simple by Design
If it takes all weekend, you won't do it. VaultTag is designed for busy families—document your most important items in under an hour, then add more whenever you have a moment.
Generations Connected
Your treasures should outlive you—and so should their stories. VaultTag helps you pass down not just possessions, but the history that gives them meaning. No more 'I wish I'd asked.'
The VaultTag Story
From a moment of loss to a mission of preservation—here's how we're helping families protect their treasures and tell their stories.
The Spark
The Marshall Fire destroyed over 1,000 Colorado homes. Watching families struggle to prove what they'd lost—and losing the stories behind irreplaceable treasures—planted the seed for what would become VaultTag.
Treasure Tracker Founded
Jackson founded Treasure Tracker LLC with a simple mission: help families capture the stories behind their treasures while creating the documentation they'd need for insurance and estate planning.
Advisory Board Formed
We brought together experts in insurance, user experience, and storytelling to ensure VaultTag serves real families with real needs—not just tech for tech's sake.
App Launch
Our first app launched on iOS and Android, making it easy for families to photograph treasures, record their stories, and build insurance-ready documentation—all in one place.
Estate Planning Added
We expanded beyond insurance to help families plan their legacies—designating heirs, creating Personal Property Memoranda, and ensuring treasures (and their stories) pass to the right people.
VaultTag Is Born
Treasure Tracker became VaultTag—a name that captures our complete mission: securing your treasures in a digital vault while tagging them with the stories that make them priceless.
